Vary the slide layout

A default slide layout usually has a headline and bullet points.

This is OK on occasion, but try to mix up the slide layout. If you're using a slide design template, you probably have around 8-12 slide design choices.

Use slide templates with a spot for your image

If you add an image to a slide, choose a slide template with a specific place for an image.

Great visual? Let it shine.

If you have an important visual, go big with it and keep the text minimal.

Add visual section breaks

If you have different sections or parts to your presentation (hopefully you do), add visual breaks to indicate it.

You can emphasize it through slide design.

Students love examples

Don't be afraid to devote an entire slide to an example
